Holding on to the past can very toxic to a relationship. When you are having problems with your ex girlfriend and you really would rather just be back with her, then you need to move on from the past and into your future with her. You might be wondering how you are going to do that if you are not together with her right now, but by moving on from the past, you raise your odds of getting her back.
And you will be able to have her back in your life and not have to go through the drama over and over again.
So, what should you do so that you can get your ex-girlfriend back and have a future with her?
1. Decide that you are not going to let the petty stuff get in the way. When you make the decision that you are not going to let small things become big ones, then you are ready to get back with her. You will then have to work at getting her back, but this will help you out big time.
2. Don’t treat her like your ex girlfriend. Doing this only reinforces the whole idea of holding on to the past. You are broken up with her now. If you want to get her back, then you have to act like she is not your ex-girlfriend, but a woman that you want to be in a relationship with. Do the things that won her over and made her your girlfriend in the first place.
3. Be playful with her again. Lots of times, when a guy gets around his ex girlfriend, he is anything but playful with her. Anyone watching can see that there is still a lot of emotions there. You want to let those go and just focus on having a good time with her. Make her want to be with you.
